What Foods Should I Eat on a Detox Diet?
It’s time to apply a few rules for a healthy diet. You definitely know some of them, but you have not yet sufficient ambition and respect to them!
You can eat:
☀ Fruit (raw, frozen, dried, juice squeezed prosapat house);
☀ Fruit and vegetables (raw, frozen, canned in water);
☀ Whole brown rice and pasta;
☀ Fresh and frozen fish;
☀ Unsalted roasted oil seeds (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.);
☀ Plain yogurt, kefir, sana;
☀ Honey / brown sugar;
☀ Spices;
☀ Herbal teas or fruit;
☀ Lean meat (in moderation).
Note! It is normal for the first few days to feel discomfort manifested by headaches, bloating, cramps, itchy skin that will disappear in a few days, once the body gets used to a diet rich in fiber and begin to eliminate toxins.
1. Whole Grains
Whole grains should be part of any detox diet. They are rich in nutrients and antioxidants, in addition, they encourage the fiber in digestion and removes toxins from the body.
2. Salad and herbs in general (parsley, Loboda, tarragon, lovage, stevia, spinach, pilework, green nettles)
These plants can be easily introduced into the diet. You can eat in salads or soup, sautй etc.. Herbs increase the amount of chlorophyll in the digestive tract which helps to remove toxins. In addition, these plants have chlorophyll and antioxidant.
3. Cabbage
The substances in the cabbage removes free radicals before they reach the cells and helps to reduce cholesterol levels. In addition, these chemicals send signals that make the genes to increase production of enzymes that help detoxify the body. Liver detoxification is the primary beneficiary of cabbage.
4. Red beet
Red beet and its detoxifying effect helping to destroy liver fat storage. Beet fiber increase production of antioxidant enzymes in the liver, helping it to eliminate toxic substances from the body. In addition, although it is sweet, beetroot has a relatively small number of calories and keeps the properties irrespective of the cooking.
5. Tea (green tea, chamomile, dandelion tea, nettle tea, yarrow tea, etc.)
Teas are often recommended to eliminate toxins. Green tea is known for its diuretic properties, detoxifying, toning and fat burning. Nettle tea also has revived depurative effect the entire body. Chamomile tea helps detoxify the small intestine. Generally extremely beneficial tea effects on the body. We recommend their use in diets and in the detoxification. Glad that you mentioned cabbage and red beets. Any time I feel like I need, even a mini-detox, I include these two foods in my diet for a few days. I especially like to up the beets that I eat. All the detox foods you mentioned are great, but I have found that I respond particularly well to the cabbage and beets. We’d all do well to have these two powerful foods as part of our regular diet.
